Rev McIlrath Hosts Unity In Diversity

“Unity In Diversity,” a new Charter Communications Cable (Channel 21) television program, has recently begun in the Charter Cable viewing area, including Newtown, New Fairfield, New Milford, Trumbull, Monroe, Sherman, Southbury, and seven additional area towns. The same programs will be broadcast over the Comcast Cable (Channel 23) in the Danbury, Bethel and Ridgefield towns.

“Unity In Diversity” features interviews, dialogue, and discussion with leaders and representatives of area worshiping and faith communities. Also to be aired are programs about people of faith who will share some of their own personal life-experiences, as well as ecumenical and interfaith events and movements.

The host and moderator for “Unity In Diversity” is the Rev Leo McIlrath, DMin, coordinator of the Corpus Christi Community of Faith. He describes the series as “a nonthreatening way to share our spiritual heritage.”

Channel 23-Comcast airs these programs on Wednesdays at 5 pm and on Fridays at noon. After June 21, The Charter Cable area will air these programs on Mondays at noon and again, on Wednesdays, at 5:30 pm.
