Stacy Broughton pitched hitless/scoreless ball over the final two innings to pick up the win. Jackie Ercole sparked the defense behind the plate (also scoring four times to spark the offense) and Christy Fogelstrom nabbed a pop fly to end an inning.
For PCS, Kate Schmidt homered to lead the offense while Heather McGill and Carly Doherty played well in the infield to lead the defense. Julie Kalt also made a great catch in the outfield.

For Gray, Ashlee Ross, Jax Van Waalwijk and Joanna Barry banged out run-scoring doubles. Stacy Broughton singled at every at bat and Jackie Ercole pitched well.
Preferred Computer Systems 10, Chase Bank 7 â Katie Karraine and Alyson Grahm pitched a great game to lead PCS to the win. Becky Samson and Sarah Regensburger played well in the field. For Chase, Callie Koch took a hit away from a player by catching a well-hit long drive at first base. Stacy Broughton struck out five batters and hit a home run and Tina Sanchez showed her speed by stealing four bases. Jackie Ercole was solid behind the dish.
An infield grounder by Devon Miles in the bottom of the sixth drove in Hannah Basch-Gould with the winning run as Creative Mailing Services slipped past Lexington Gardens, 8-7, in the championship game of the U12 National League Division.
Basch-Gouldâs RBI double plated Christine Beck with the tying run. Beck had been pinch running for an injured Kristen Brassard.
Kate Bowen pitched three solid innings, striking out seven to lead Creative Mailing. She helped her own cause by going 2-for-2 at the plate with a triple and two runs scored. Jennifer Daily was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI while Marley Koschel, Ashley Kuligowski, Miles and Maura McDade all singled to power a 10-hit attack.
Amanda Nealy and Basch-Gould also pitched well.
For Lexington, Kaila Harrington was 2-for-2 while Susan Mason and Elissa Robertson singled to spark the offense. Rachel Ruiz was strong behind the dish, Robertson and Stephanie Sanchez combined on the mound for a solid effort, and Megan Rockwell scored a pair of runs.

Ashley Kuligowski and Marley Koschel ripped hits for Creative Mailing while Kaitlin Marsden and Christine Beck played great in the field. For Newtown Hardware Tara Hitshew got the lone hit, while Laura Newberry made a great double play at shortstop. Monique Samuelson and Ally Modzelewski pitched well and Emma Kelly-Knickerbocker played well at catcher.
Airtech 12, Burton Builders 4 â Samantha Defillipe and Jessica Cherry each had two RBI while Sabrina Yudelson and Sonia Brand-fisher provided the tough defense to lead Airtech. For Burton, Marissa Saravis, Caitlin Tefft, Kelly Burton, and Jenn Callery each had solid all around games.
Ricciâs Salon 9, Karenâs Fitness 6 â Nicole Escobar had two hits and two RBIs to lead Ricciâs. Sarah Ferris played well in the field. Michelle Davies and Theresa Viesto hit the ball hard and Jen Perez had a shot to the outfield and played good defense in backing up throws to first.
Ricciâs Salon 6, Airtech 5 â Genna Rossi had a double play to Jen Perez and Mary Kate George batted well with three hits to lead Ricciâs. Jackie Bonadio played a good heads up game as pitcher while Rebecca Bloon had a hit and a couple of RBIs. For Airtech, Cristin Carlin had two RBIs to lead the offense while Kathy Townsend, Sabrina Yudelson and Ava Rojo played excellent defense.
Carquest 11, Ricciâs Salon 5 â Rebecca Ferris and Nicole Escobar each had a shot to the outfield to spark Ricciâs. Brittany Ziman had a pair of hits while Theresa Viesto and Rebecca Bloom each had a hit.Rushefski Consulting versus Newtown Junior Women â Jill Moller, Natalie Galante and Jessica Gibbons all sent the ball flying, and Gillian Galante played very well as catcher for Rushefski Consulting. Lilly Fulmer and Olivia Korth each scored twice for Junior Women while Veronica Eames and Sophia Chiravelli did some great fielding.
 Rushefski Consulting versus Century 21/Gleason Group â Anna Jannott, Nadia El-Hag and Sarah Stofko had two hits a piece while Emily Paloian pitched very well for Rushefski Consulting. Emily Riley, Anna Northrop and Maggie Kennedy had some strong fielding and Lauren Frazzetta did a great job catching for Century 21/Gleason Group.
Rushefski Consulting versus Atkinson Stoneworks â Abby Kuligowski pitched while twin sister Karlie Kuligowski made some great catches, and Bonnie Buchetto, Emily Woznick and Bailey Solomons excelled in the field for Rushefski Consulting. Caroline Wollman did a great job in-fielding, and Emily Maher, Olivia Ingham and Sally Martinelli made Atkinson Stoneworks proud of their batting.
Super Blahs 8, Carquest All Stars 5 â Kelly Burtonâs two shots to left field provided the offense earning her MVP honors for the Blahs in the U12 American League All Star game. Samantha Defillipe, Tracy Dunn, and Genna Rossi all pitched a great game, while stellar defense was provided by Brittany Ziman and Lauren Hanulik. For Carquest, Nicole Maggio had an unassisted double play. Lauren Johnson ripped a shot into left field and Kelsey Daniels played great defense at second base.
Nicole Hamilton drove in the game-winning run, lifting Villa Restaurant to an 11-10 win over Richâs Keys & Locks in the championship game of the U10 Division. Marilyn LaCroce doubled in the final inning to spark the offense.
Erin Begg pitched three shutout innings while Samantha Liss and Brandy Nezvesky played well in the field to lead Villa. For Richâs, Dianna Carozza, Meghan Condon and Kelly Brooks had sparkling performances.
Villa reached the championship game with wins over Newtown Insurance (12-7) and JP Maguire (6-5). Richâs reached the championship game with wins over Bob Tendler Real Estate (10-5) and Union Savings Bank (16-15).

Richâs Keys & Locks 10, Bob Tendler Real Estate 5 â Abbey Doski and Kelsey Von Der Linn pitched well and led Richâs past previously undefeated Tendler. Kaitlyn Kakadeles and Kaitlyn Appley powered the offense.
Richâs Keys & Locks 16, Union Savings Bank 15 â Ashley Perry and Anegla Ross paced the offense while Nicole Nonnenmacher and Melissa Davila led the defense and Richâs to the win.
Dr Henry Gellert 13, JP Maguire 2 â Colleen Durkin, Morghan Moroney and Kately Dandrea led Dr Gellert with two hits apiece. Lindsay McCoy pitched well to solidify the win. For Maguire, Sarah Smith, Linnea Pearson and Mary Hamula had hits as Kira Reed pitched well in the second inning.
Dr Henry Gellert 8, Executive Lawn 6 â Lindsay McCoy had a stellar play in the field by killing a rally by Executive Lawn by turning in an unassisted double play. Joanna Wollman, Morghan Moroney and Kate Siroky powered the offense with timely hitting.

Century 21/Gleason Group versus Newtown Junior Women â Sarah Lynch had a pair of hits and Emily Riley and Lauren Frazzetta made a couple of nice plays in the field to lead Century 21. Jessie Principi also had a pair of nice hits. For the Junior Women, Sophia Chiravelli made a spectacular catch while Megan Evans and Kelsey Packer combined in the field for strong defense. At the plate, Amanda Cirella hit the ball hard.
