Hurd Construction 16, Wild River 11 – Mike Lancaster and Jay Edwards combined for eight hits and nine RBI as Hurd out-slugged Wild River. Lancaster added a three-run homer for Hurd as Frank Lancaster, Will Lancaster and Karl Svenson each had a multi hit game. Hurd scored 6 in the first inning and did not look back from there.

Porco’s Construction 24, Creative Mailing 10 – Kris Svensson went 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBI to lead Porco’s Construction to the win. Dave McKee, Chris Dennis and Pete Duhamel all had three hits (for Duhamel, all of those were doubles) while McKee and Chris D’Angelo drove in four runs apiece. Rick Kasbarian homered.

Porco’s Construction 12, Hurd Construction 2 – Chris Dennis belted a pair of homers and drove in four runs to lead Porco’s to the win. Tim Zeno went 4-for-4 while George Matern was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.

Greenleaf Tree Service 33, Charter Communications 5 – Steve George went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and four runs scored to help fuel a 33-run explosion for Greenleaf Tree Service. Doug Delvecchio was 3-for-4 with a double, homer and four RBI while CJ Baranowski was 3-for-5 with a double, homer and two RBI. Sean Tierney clubbed a grandslam, drove in five runs and scored four more while Frank Durante was 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored. Chad Eaton added a home run and two RBI.

Creative Mailing Services 20, Bulldogs 19 – Mark Kuligowski, Ken Roche and Frank Kuligowski all homered to lead Creative Mailing to the win.

Porco’s Construction 29, Southbury Printing 17 – Pat Smith and Mike Douski collected four hits apiece to lead Southbury Printing. Carl Abrahamson, Mark Verrastro and Smith each homered while Douski had a pair of homeruns. Howie Zipperstein and Abrahamson contributed three hits apiece.
