Multiple MV Charges

Police report they were dispatched to the area of 55 Sugar Street on the evening of June 16 to check out a report of a possibly intoxicated woman in the road. Police said that in the course of their investigation, they learned that the woman had entered a white Jeep as a passenger.

Police said they then located that vehicle parked in a driveway on Head O’ Meadow Road and investigated.

Police said they charged the driver of the Jeep, James Ceperley, 40, of 55 Sugar Street, Unit 27, with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of marker plates, driving while under suspension, and failure to maintain minimum automotive insurance.

Police said they held Ceperley on $2,500 bail for a June 17 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
