Boy Scouts Collecting Flags

As part of an ongoing community service project, Boy Scout Troop 270 is collecting American flags that are ready for retirement.

 Flags of all sizes should be properly disposed of when they become ripped or faded.

Flags can be brought to the following locations for collection: Reed Intermediate School, Newtown Middle School, Newtown High School, The Newtown Bee, and Dodgingtown Volunteer Fire Department.

Troop 270 meets at the Dodgingtown Firehouse on Thursdays at 7:30 pm. Flags can also be brought to the firehouse at that time if an evening drop-off is more convenient.
