BPW Gets A Makeover

The Newtown Business & Professional Women’s Club met at Ricci’s Salon last week to hear about new hair fashions, color, and makeup, and to tour the salon, the spa, and the school. Owner Daniel Riccio cut Tricia Farrin’s hair (top left) into a 2001-style shag while Kasey Straiton created a “flick” hairstyle for Shelley Kappauf (bottom left). Makeup artist Cindy Mauer also provided updated looks. Below, Tricia Farin, Ann LoBosco, and Shelley Kappauf model the finished makeovers.  It takes about two years for styles from Europe to reach the United States” Mr Riccio said. What’s coming? “Big hair is back – mall hair – like you’d see in the late 70s and early 80s,” Mr Riccio reported.
