Walker T. Taylor, 90, of Newtown, died June 14, at his home. He was the husband of the late Myrtle âPeggyâ (Jennings) Taylor. He was born, August 22, 1920, in Bethel, the son of Harriet (Webb) and Arthur Taylor.
Mr Taylor served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He was a printer, and owned and operated Taylor Associates. He was a member of Bethel Eureka Lodge of the Masons, and for a period served as Master of the Lodge.
His sister, Harriet âSueâ Jennings of Brookfield, and numerous nieces and nephews survive Mr Taylor. Five brothers and sisters predeceased him.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 16, from 9 to 10 am, at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury. A funeral service will follow at 10 am, also at the Cornell Memorial Home, with burial in Wooster Cemetery.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the charity of oneâs choice.
