School Board Has Better

Things To Do

To the Editor:

Surely the Board of Education could find something more constructive to do than trying to replace the current school bus system that’s been working well for so many years?

How about if the BOE used local unemployed craftsmen to complete projects on their budget that they have out for bid?

For example: How much could be saved if they used local unemployed craftsmen to fix/replace the middle school roof? It certainly wouldn’t cost $5 million dollars because it would be accomplished on a nonprofit basis.

There must be many projects on their list that could serve to give some temporary employment while saving the town and taxpayers money.
