Rose M. Murad

Loving Sister

Rose M. Murad, 82, of Danbury, died June 7, at Select Specialty Hospital, Lake Worth, Fla. She was born in Boston, September 24, 1928, a daughter of Mary (Taylor) and Joseph Murad.

She is survived by six siblings, including Peter Murad of Newtown; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Murad was predeceased by a sister.

She was a retired secretary for the former Larsen, Durgy and Melillo accounting firm, and later Melillo and Mitchell.

Miss Murad was a member of St Anthony Maronite Catholic Church of Danbury and of its Ladies Guild.

The family will receive friends at St Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 17 Granville Avenue, Danbury, Saturday, June 18, from 9 to 10 am. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place at 10 am, in St Anthony Church, with the Reverend Jean Younes officiating. Burial will follow in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Contributions in Miss Murad’s memory and honor may be made to St Anthony Church.
