The Consideration

To the Editor:

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Republican Town Committee and its nominating committee for the opportunity to interview to have my name placed in nomination for a seat on the school board in this year’s election process.

After interviewing the candidates, the committee has decided to place one name on the ballot and to return the incumbent, Elaine McClure, to the board for another four years. I wish Ms McClure and the entire school board much success and accomplishment in the years ahead.

Many thanks also to those individuals in the Republican Party who encouraged and supported me to seek the nomination and for their fervent interest in our schools and the people who are chosen to oversee them.
