Terrance J. Bates has been named to the Dean’s List at Bowling Green State University where he is pursuing a degree in the musical arts.

Joseph Ziemann has been named to the Dean’s List at Lehigh University for the spring semester.

David A. Kremenitzer, Jesse D. Goodwick, John A. Pantan, Jonathan C. Silver, and Megan O. Mathews have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at the University of Hartford.

Diana Bonacci, Ronald W. Isler, and Samantha L. Landers of Newtown and Michelle E. Grimaldi of Sandy Hook have been named to the Dean’s List at Eastern Connecticut State University.

Brittany Boyle has been named to the Dean’s List at Northeastern University for the spring semester.

Aaron R. Johnson, Sarah Anne MacKnight, and Casey Katherine Palmer have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Keene State College.

The following students graduated on May 21 from Fordham University. David H. Roodhuyzen received a bachelor of science degree. David H. Strong received a bachelor of arts degree. Kevin J. Carolan of Sandy Hook received a bachelor of science degree from the College of Business Administration and Matthew B. Lynch of Sandy Hook received a bachelor of arts degree.

The following students graduated on May 28 from Bowdoin College. Bretton James McEvoy received a bachelor of arts degree. He graduated with a double major in German and government and legal studies. He received honors in German. Sue J. Kim of Sandy Hook received a bachelor of arts degree. She graduated with a coordinate major in government and legal studies. She received honors in Environmental Studies. In addition she received the Michael Francis Micciche III Memorial Award for academic excellence. She served as treasurer of Bowdoin Student Government.

Robert C. Foege graduated from The University of Washington School of Medicine on June 4 with a degree of medical doctor. Dr Foege is doing his internship at Legacy Emanuel/Good Samaritan in Portland, Ore., and then to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston for his residency. His specialty is anesthesiology.

Erin L. Kostecki and Sage G. Huskins, both of Sandy Hook, graduated on May 12 from New York University. Both received the Founders Day Scholars Award. Ms Kostecki graduated from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and Ms Huskins from the College of Arts and Science.

Zachary Lyon graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairfield College Preparatory School on June 6. He will attend Bentley College in the fall.

Andrew C. Beck and Thomas S. Oristaglio both received the Founders Day Scholar Award upon graduating from New York University on May 12. Mr Beck and Mr Oristaglio both received degrees from the College of Arts and Science at NYU.

Caitlin C. Capon received a bachelor of science degree in counseling and human services from the University of Scranton.

Deirdre Mayer Dougherty graduated from Smith College with a bachelor of arts degree in Latin American studies, with a minor in Spanish. She is an intern with the Madres de Plaza de Mayo, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, this summer and will travel in Argentina and South America before returning to begin graduate school at Georgetown University in the fall.
