Openings In CT Master Chorale

The Connecticut Master Chorale, under the direction of Tina Johns Heidrich, has openings for a soprano and a bass voice for the upcoming 2005-06 concert season.

Performances are scheduled for November at St Mary’s Church in Bethel, and March and May at St Rose of Lima in Newtown. The Connecticut Master Chorale Orchestra will accompany the choir during these performances.

Additionally, the Chorale has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in November under the direction of the internationally known composer and conductor John Rutter.

Rehearsals for the Chorale are on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 and begin after Labor Day. The group rehearses in the parish hall of South Britain Congregational Church.

Connecticut Master Chorale is a premiere ensemble of 55 auditioned, highly gifted select singers in the greater Danbury area. Formed in 1999, CMC has had many achievements and high honors.

In addition to its regular three-concert season, the chorale has performed at West Point Military Academy, twice at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and the White House, all by invitation.

For more information about the Chorale, visit www.CMChorale.org. To schedule an audition, contact Ms Heidrich at 775-2602.
