Namath/Dockery Football Camp

The annual Joe Namath/John Dockery Instructional Football Camp will be held July 10 through July 15 at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachussetts. The staff of professional instructors will include Justin McCareins, Kareem McKenzie, Tim Carter, and Dan Klecko. The camp is open to boys ages 8 to 18 and will feature programs on Injury Prevention & Care, Non-Contact, College Selection, Nutritional Guidance, Weight/Fitness, and Running. Girls Soccer Premier Tryouts

The CFC Gunners, a U14 girls premier soccer team, will be holding tryouts on Saturday and Sunday, July 9 (6 to 8 pm) and 10 (12 noon to 2 pm) at Newtown High School. Players born after August 1, 1991 are eligible.

Warrior Lacrosse Camp

The Warrior Lacrosse Camp will run July 25-28 at Western Connecticut State University under the direction of Rick McCarthy, WCSU head coach. The camp is for players ages 8 to 18.
