Mr and Mrs Richard Scanlon, Jr

Julia Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Puddicombe, St Petersburg, Fla., and Richard Joseph Scanlon, Jr, son of Richard and Marianne Scanlon, Newtown, were united in marriage aboard the Lady Xanadu, St Petersburg. Captain Michael Fryer officiated the wedding.

The bride received her bachelor of arts from Queen’s University, Canada and her master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, Orlando.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and received his MBA from Wharton School of Business. He is managing director, Southeast Region, for Ziegler Capital Markets Group.

The couple resides in St Petersburg after a wedding trip to Venice, Tuscany and Florence, Italy.
