Meredith Dorothy Renkert and Emil Joseph Roland

The engagement of Meredith Dorothy Renkert, daughter of Anne Hobson, Woodbury, and Peter Renkert, Priest River, Idaho to Emil Joseph Roland, son of Emile and Vera Roland of Newtown, is announced.

Ms Renkert is a 1989 graduate of Newtown High School and attended Teikyo Post University, Waterbury. She is presently employed as a veterinary technician by Fairfield Equine Associates.

Mr Roland graduated from Newtown High School in 1993. He is the owner of Hillside Lawn Service in Easton.

A September 4 wedding is planned at The Waterview in Monroe.
