Kenneth D.     Cannata

Kenneth D. Cannata, 58, of Trumbull, a retired employee for the US Postal Service after 30 years in Trumbull, died June 11 in Shelton.

Survivors include one brother, George Cannata of Newtown; three nieces, Vanessa Cannata and Amanda Cannata, both of Newtown, and Tabatha Cannata of Stamford.

Born in Bridgeport, Feb 21, 1947, he was the son of Natale (Sam) Cannata and Elvira (Cozza) Cannata of Trumbull.

Mr Cannata was a graduate of St Joseph’s High School in Trumbull in 1967 and a Vietnam veteran with the US Army 101st Airborne, serving from 1967 to 1970.

Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Parente Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave, Bridgeport.
