Being Safe At College

DANBURY — The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury is sponsoring a College Safety Workshop for college-bound students and their parents that will focus on personal safety tips, risk reduction strategies, the link between sexual assault and alcohol/drugs, students’ rights, and date rape drugs. Participants can choose to attend this free workshop on either Wednesday, August 10, from 1:30 to 4 pm, or Thursday, August 11, from 7 to 9:30 pm. Call 731-5200 for more info and to register.
