Adopt A Kitten On Saturday

The Animal Center of Newtown and Paws On Main, a specialty pet shop on Route 25 in Monroe, are holding adoption days for cats on Saturdays in June.

Newtown residents interested in a furry lifetime friend can view The Animal Center’s zany and loving cats online at www.theanimalcenter.org or www.petfinder.org or meet some of them in person at the center’s Saturday adoptions days at Paws On Main.

To celebrate national Adopt-A-Shelter Cat month, the center will be at Paws On Main every Saturday in June from noon to 3 pm to show cats and kittens for adoption.

“Come help our cats become the love of someone’s life — yours!” said Monica Roberto of Newtown, co-founder, with Kimberly Coleman of New Fairfield, of The Animal Center.
