Celebrated Sister Authors To Visit For Evening Of Suspense, Reading From New Novel
Joy Hoffman, host of the ongoing Joy of Art and Yoga Nidra program, invites the public to an evening of suspense, appetizers, and drinks, with the authors of the upcoming novel The Stranger In The Mirror.
International best-selling author Liv Constantine — a/k/a sisters Lynne Constantine of Connecticut and Valerie Constantine of Maryland — will be at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro, 97 South Main Street, on Thursday, July 22, from 5 to 7:30 pm, when they will be celebrating their newest release.
The authors will also be reading from their new book.
Tickets are $45 and must be reserved in advance. Call 203-426-0805 for reservations and additional information.
With their newest novel, the writing duo plays with questions of identity and memory by creating a heroine who does not know her true self.
In the book, which is due out July 6, Addison is about to be married, but she’s not looking forward to the big day. Her fiancé is not the problem; he is a wonderful man.
The problem is, Addison does not know who she really is. A few years previously, a kind driver had found her bleeding next to a New Jersey highway and rescued her. While her physical wounds healed, Addison’s memory never returned.
She does not know her real name, nor how she ended up injured on the side of a road, nor even the idea that she may have done something very, very bad.
Meanwhile, in a posh home in the Boston suburbs, Julian tries to figure out what happened to his loving, caring wife, Cassandra, who disappeared without a trace two years ago. She would never have left him and their seven-year-old daughter Valentina of her own free will — or would she?
As these two lives intersect, The Stranger in The Mirror hooks readers with riveting drama, told with the sisters’ hallmark blend of glamour, tense psychological thrills, and jaw-dropping twists.
Liv Constantine is the bestselling author of The Last Mrs Parrish (a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick), The Last Time I Saw You, and The Wife Stalker.
Their critically acclaimed books have been praised by USA Today, The Sunday Times, People Magazine, and Good Morning America, among others. Their books have been translated into 27 languages, are available in 32 countries, and are in development for television and film.
