Emmett & Glander (Yellow Jackets) 6, Newtown Savings Bank (Money) 5 – Oliver Powers belted a home run and Cody Gotthardt played an exceptional game in the field with three key defensive plays to lead the Jackets to the win. Connor Pinneau also made a key defensive play. For the Money, Kyle Watts, Christian Sayegh and Joel Fox played well in the loss.

Stony Brook (Hurricanes) 9, Sallyport Holdings (Jankees) 5 – Chris Tenney homered, doubled, drove in five runs and pitched two scoreless innings to lead Stony Brook to the win. Michael Lengel doubled and Austin Puleri had a bases clearing double that was the game-winning hit. Connor Blanc had a great game behind the dish. For the Jankees, David Lucia and Matt Pruner led the offense as Colin Morris pulled of another defensive gem to keep the game close.

Sallyport Holdings (Jankees) 11, Emmett & Glander (Yellow Jackets) 1 – Colin Morris and Ryan Dunnigan drove in two runs apiece while Dakotah Christiano and Brandon Capaldo played tight defense to lead the Jankees. Cole Baldino and Connor Pinneau had fine performances for Emmett & Glander.

Union Savings Bank (Orange Crush) 8, Enterprise Electric (The Shock) 4 – Curtis Droniak hit a solo home run and Connor Mason hit a base clearing double to lead the Crush to the win. Kyler Harmeling closed the game out from the mound with scoreless relief. Kevin Morrissey led the Shock with two hits. Sean Burson pitched two strong innings and chipped in with a hit and Greg Williamson made a number of good plays in the field.

Sallyport Holdings (Jankees) 5, Union Savings Bank (Orange Crush) 4 – Brandon Capaldo and Dom Fedak combined on the mound for four scoreless innings of baseball while Colin Morris drove in three runs and David Lucia scored the winning run in the top of the seventh to lead the Jankees. The defense was flawless with Dakotah Christiano, Clark Giles and Matt Pruner making great plays to secure the win. For the Crush, Ken Toal had an amazing outfield catch in the losing effort. Andrew Cebry hit a long triple and Ryan O’Keefe was on base three out of four at bats. Ryan Powers added two innings of flawless pitching.

Enterprise Electric (The Shock) 5, Emmett & Glander (Yellow Jackets) 3 – Anthony Maki had two hits and broke the game open with a two-run double to lead The Shock. Jake Tolson pitched two clutch innings and Andrew Fischer made a solid play in the field to preserve the win. Luke Shearin had a strong defensive game and kept the Emmett & Glander Yellow Jackets close with his efforts at the plate.

Newtown Savings Bank (Money) 14, Stony Brook (Hurricanes) 4 – The Money had a big offensive explosion from their entire line-up in a great victory over the Hurricanes. Connor Blanc doubled and Will Arndt went 2-for-3 for the Hurricanes.

Ponsky’s Family Dentistry 7, Prism House Painting 3 – Colin Dutt, Max Hayes, and Matt Shannon each pitched two strong innings to lead Ponsky to the win. Erik Laaksonen powered the offense with three hits. For Prism Painting, Matt Villamana, Patrick Mullins and Daniel Harrison had strong all around games.

Attorney Andrew Buzzi 13, Prism House Painting 5 – Justin DeVellis, Drew Tarantino, Jimmy Gilbert,and the Pisani brothers, Eric and Ryan, hit the ball hgard to lead Buzzi. Ty Runkle played xgreat defensively to help seal the win. Ryan Errico and Garrison Buzzanca pitched three strong innings as well.

Ponsky’s Family Dentistry 7, Onex 4 – Matt Sabia and Scott Kelly led the offense, Max Hayes pitched well and Tim Barrett had a strong game at second base to lead Ponsky. For Onex, Chris Stanton and Bubba LeBlanc pitched well. Greg Horne hit a long double and Danny Cummings made two nice plays at third.

Associated Refuse 9, AERCO International 5 – Nick Cirone led Associated Refuse’s offense with three hits while Chris Spalvieri and Matt Mitchel contributed a hit a piece to lead AR to the win.

Mount Pleasant Hospital For Animals 7, Coldwell Banker 5 – David Kent pitched a scoreless inning in his debut to lead Mount Pleasant. Jim Parker and Tommy Catalina also pitched exceptionally well. Joseph Calbo scored three runs.

BW Retail Real Estate Group 6, Mobil 1 Lube Express 6 – A rain-drenched game ended in a tie. Adam Israel, Jacob Burden, Jack Lago and Julian Dunn pitched well for Mobil 1.

Mount Pleasant Hospital For Animals 12, Mobil 1 Lube Express 10 – Daniel Colucci had a huge hit with two runs scored as Jim Parker, Darryl Silverlieb and Robby Lasher went a combined 8-for-8 with seven runs scored to power the Mount Pleasant offense. Joseph Calbo had a solid day behind the plate with two solid hits.

Mobil 1 Lube Express 5, Dental Associates 4 – Connor Roche, Eric Street and Matt Argraves played well for Dental Associates. Chris Daly made his pitching debut with a solid inning of work while Brandon O’Sullivan provided the defensive plays of the game.

Mount Pleasant Hospital For Animals 15, Coldwell Banker 9 – Jeremy Fellin hit a bases-clearing double in extra innings to lead Mount Pleasant to the win. Austin Leusu drove in three runs as Jordan Headford had a solid day behind the plate getting a clutch RBI hit in extra innings. Forest Speed pitched two solid innings.

Dental Associates 9, Equale & Cirone 7 – Charlie Huegi clubbed a three-run homer in the fifth inning to lead Dental Associates to victory. Ricky LaPak, Eric Street, Nate Dowd and Alex Klang all had one inning of solid pitching leading up to Connor Roche closing out the game with a 1-2-3 sixth inning.

AERCO International 11, Taunton Press 0 – Jack Condon pitched well as Troy Frangione and Will Dalton pounded out some hits to lead AERCO.. For Taunton Press, Alec Bedini and Jimmy Leidlein made nice plays in the field while Ryan Rosenberger contributed two hits and Lane Kummer one.

Equale & Cirone 4, AERCO International 3 – Eric Cascone, Harrison Depuy and Troy Frangione pitched well for AERCO while Malcom Dance’s two-run homer led a late rally that fell short in the loss to Equle & Cirone.

Fairfield County Irrigation Systems 10, Associated Refuse 8 – Tim Drotar and Jason Ferrari each scored a run while Bobby Archiere, Stephen Grasso and Andy Braun each scored two runs and pitched well in the victory. For Associated Refuse, Will Swain, Brandon Powell and Nick Cirone each had two hits and Powell drove in four runs.

Fairfield County Irrigation Systems 13, BW Retail Real Estate Group 7 – Colin Morrissey, Kevin Liniger, Nick Eisele, Connor LeMay and Jason Ferrari each scored two runs to lead FCIS to the win. Jason Ferrari made a fine catch in right field and threw to first base for a double play.

Fairfield County Irrigation Systems 10, Dental Associates 9 – Logan Walsh, Andy Braun, and Bobby Archiere scored two runs each and Bobby Archiere pitched well as FCIS nipped Dental Associates. For DA, Connor Roche pitched well giving up only one run in two innings of work. Connor Miller, Charlie Huegi and Roche powered the offense.

Equale & Cirone 14, Associated Refuse 7 – Colton Smith, Nick Cirone and Christian Klein led the Associated offense with two hits apiece while Bobby Lydon, John Bashak and Akash Ahuja added a hit apiece. Smith and Ahuja also played excellent on defense.

Taunton Press 15, Dental Associates 11 – Rhett Ehnot led the way for the Taunton offense, scoring three runs as Jack Beal and Alec Bedini each scored twice. Matt Lindell and Kevin Conte each had strong outings on the mound.

U8

Turner Construction 6, Dina 6 – Matt Perun of Turner had three hits including a long home run to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth inning. Keaton McCleary and Kim Brello combined for four hits and three runs scored.

Turner Construction 2, Rich’s Keys & Locks 2 – Ryan King collected two hits and two RBI to lead Turner. King and Julia Monaco helped preserve the tie with superb defensive play.

Carminuccio’s 6, Team (#6) 0 – Carmuniccio’s was led by the sparkling defense of Brendan Crowe, who made a tremendous play at third base, and Declan Sullivan, who made two outstanding catches. Albert Dean and Jared Brady led the offensive with three hits apiece. Team #6 was led by Tim Vanderhave and Josh Houle, both of whom played well.
