‘Tosca’ Screening

SOUTHBURY — Southbury Senior Center’s “Afternoon At The Opera” series will feature Tosca, one of the world’s most popular operas, on Wednesday, June 21. The film will be shown at Pomperaug Woods, 80 Heritage Road, at 1 pm.

Starring Placido Domingo, Raina Kabaivanska and Sherrill Milnes, the performance was filmed in 1976 in Rome. The stunning 115-minute film has been acclaimed as one of the most satisfying of all versions of any opera on celluloid.

Admission is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
