Robert W. Wade, 46, of Newtown, died June 8 in his home. Born in Danbury on March 8, 1960, he was the son of the late Raymond E. Wade, Sr, and was a Newtown resident most of his life.

Mr Wade was the owner and operator of the Wade’s Excavating Co. and Meadowbrook Farms in Newtown.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Belva (Emerson) Wade; his loving daughters, Casey Jane Wade and Bobbi Ray Wade; his mother, Karen (Staudinger) Conger and her husband, Skip, all of Newtown; one brother, Raymond E. Wade, Jr, of Thomaston; one sister, Dawn Legg of Florida; his father and mother-in-law, William and Judy LaSalanta of Ansonia; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 16, at 7 pm, in Grace Christian Fellowship Church, Route 6, Newtown. On Saturday, June 17, at 1 pm, an additional memorial service will be held at Grace Christian Fellowship Church with the Pastor Barry Fredericks officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements entrusted to the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family for his children.
