Private Home Care Worker

Patricia A. Tilford, 63, of Sandy Hook, formerly of Danbury, wife of the late Richard W. Tilford, Sr, died at Danbury Hospital on June 11.

Mrs Tilford was born in Danbury, May 6, 1943, daughter of Helen (Dennis) Winters of Danbury and the late Lewis Winters, Sr.

She was a graduate of Danbury High School and had worked throughout the Danbury area as a private home care worker.

Besides her mother, she is survived by four children, Patricia McNally of Sandy Hook, Jeffrey C. Smith of Southbury, Richard W. Tilford, Jr, of Kissimmee, Fla., and Bryan Tilford of Danbury; four brothers, Lewis Winters, Jr, of Washington, Kenneth Winters of New Milford, Lawrence Winters of Danbury, and Arthur Winters of Johnstown, N.Y.; three sisters, Betty Mae Lilly of Copake, N.Y., Helen Gillotti and Rosemary Winters, both of Danbury; an aunt, Mary Montesi of Danbury; ten grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Green Funeral Home, Danbury, on June 14. Burial was in Zoar Cemetery, Sandy Hook.
