Dolores J. Ambrose

Dolores J. Ambrose, 70, of Danbury, formerly of Ridgefield, died June 10, at Danbury Hospital. She was born in New York City March 14, 1942, the daughter of Albina (Wojick) and John Dynan. She was the wife of the late Gerald J. Ambrose.

She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Paltauf, and her husband Rob, of Newtown and a son, Geffrey Ambrose, and his wife Donna, of North Reading, Mass.; two brothers, Edward and John; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

For a period of time after graduation and prior to her marriage, Mrs Ambrose was employed in the advertising field in New York City. She was a member of the Lions Club of Ridgefield and enjoyed gardening and tag sales.

Mrs Ambrose attended St Mary Church of Ridgefield and St Peter Church of Danbury.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 16, at 10:15 am, in St Mary Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, with Msgr Laurence R. Bronkiewicz officiating. Interment will follow in St Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours.

Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, is in charge of arrangements.
