Felony Arrest
On the morning of June 7, police served a warrant against Dean Czaplicki, 37, of 2 Timbermill Road, arresting him on a charge of second-degree larceny, which is a felony.

Telephone Theft
Police served a warrant against Aiden Young 18, of 79 Hattertown Road on June 7, charging him with fourth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief.
The charges stem from an August 2006 investigation which determined that Young had broken into a locked telephone utility box and illegally made long-distance calls, police said.
Young was arraigned on the charges in court on June 7.
Youthful Offender
On June 7, police served a warrant against a person under age 18, charging her with failure to respond to an infraction, stemming from a past offense of simple trespassing.
After the youth had received the infraction, she did not pay the fine or plead not guilty to the offense, so police rearrested her on both charges on a warrant.
After posting $92 bail, police released the youth for a June 22 appearance in Danbury Youthful Offender Court. The identities of people under age 18 who are charged with crimes are shielded from public disclosure by state law.

Warrant Arrest
Police arrested a 17-year-old person on a warrant on June 13, charging the person with failure to respond to an infraction and with simple trespassing.
The person turned him/herself over to police at the police station. The simple trespassing charge stems from an incident that occurred last November 10 at Fairfield Hills, the town-owned complex that formerly was a state psychiatric hospital.
The person who received the infraction ticket neither paid it, nor pleaded not guilty to the offense, so police rearrested the person on the warrant.
