UConn Book Sale

TORRINGTON — The University of Connecticut’s Torrington Campus will be holding its annual sale of used books until June 29.

Ranging from type from text books, to self-help books, to novels, hundreds of hard cover and paperback volumes are available for sale at 50 cents per hard cover and 25 cents per paperback.

The books have all been donated to the university by area private schools, libraries, churches, and individuals. The most recent delivery is due to the generosity of the New Hartford Library.

The money raised from the sale is used to support community events sponsored by the Torrington Campus. Sale hours are 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8 am to 4 pm on Fridays.
