Families Needed to Host

Exchange Students

Hosting a high school exchange student starting this August is like bringing the world to your doorstep.

The Foundation for Intercultural Travel matched international students with host families across the US. Families of all types are eligible to host, retired couples to single parent families. Not only two-parent families have enjoyed hosting an international son or daughter.

Students arrive before the start of school and bring their own spending money for clothes, entertainment, and other expenses. They have their own medical insurance as well.

Host families agree to room and board and to include them as a family member. There are students who come for one semester as well as ones that come for the academic school year. All the students speak English.
