The second annual Newtown Play Festival is gearing up for production during the 2015 Newtown Arts Festival. The two-day outdoor festival will be presented September 19-20 at Fairfield Hills. 

Producers Maureen Trotto and Elizabeth Young are seeking ten minute plays by local playwrights. If you have been hanging on to one for years, shake off the dust and send it over. If an idea has been percolating in your mind, put pen to paper and send it in. 

Last year’s festival had an excellent turnout and was well received.

The producers seek all local playwrights to take advantage of this chance to see their work performed live.
