Smoky Topaz Hosting Free Chamber Event

Lari Freeman of Smoky Topaz is celebrating with a grand opening to showcase her goods, and will host an open house for the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown Saturday, June 21, from 12 to 4 pm, at 111 Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook.

Ms Freeman’s unique jewelry store is filled with hand-assembled jewelry made from raw metals and semiprecious stones. Smoky Topaz focuses on combining the artisan craft of jewelry making with direct input from her clients to create long-lasting wearable art.

In addition to her product line, Smoky Topaz also offers jewelry making classes and assembly services, so clients can create custom products for any special occasion, or to mix and match with an existing pieces in their collection.

Smoky Topaz can even host a gemstone party for clients.

Along with an opportunity for networking with Chamber members and guests, attendees will get a chance to chat with Ms Freeman while enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres.

Attendees will also get the chance to enter to win a custom piece of jewelry of Ms Freeman’s design.
