Kelly Clark and Hernando Paredes, Jr

Bill and Pat Clark of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Clark, to Hernando Paredes, Jr, son of Rosy Bustamonte of Paterson, N.J., and Hernando Paredes of Sao Paolo, Brazil. A June 2009 wedding is being planned.

Kelly is a 1998 graduate of Newtown High School. She then earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware, and then her master’s of education at Loyola College in Baltimore, Md., where she is currently a resident. She is employed as a school counselor for the Baltimore County Public Schools System.

Hernando, an investment counselor with T. Rowe Price, is a 1998 graduate of Glen Rock High School. He continued his education with business studies at Stockton College.
