At Newtown High School
Summer Theatre Connections is preparing to launch its fifth summer program.
STC is run by the Newtown High School Theatre Department in conjunction with Education Connecticut. The five-week program is funded by the State of Connecticut and offers students in grades six through 12 a complete theatrical experience. Students will be involved with singing, acting, dancing, set design, costume design, and production.
Qualified teachers and counselors run the program, focusing on safety and solid instruction for all students. The program is free and open to students in Newtown, Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, Easton, Redding, Southbury, Waterbury and Woodbury.
This yearâs program will run July 1 to August 1 at Newtown High School, 12 Berkshire Road in Sandy Hook. Transportation is available for non-Newtown residents.
