Joan Naylor

Joan (Mayo) Naylor, 84, of Bridgeport, died June 11 at Bridgeport Hospital.

She was the sister of George Mayo of Newtown.

Mrs Naylor was born in Milford, and was an area resident for most of her life. She was a retired assistant office supervisor for John Hancock Life. She was the widow of Lewis “Bob” Naylor.

Survivors include another brother, Frank Mayo of Shelton; one sister, Orpha Mayo of Fairfield; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Funeral services took place on June 14 from the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, and in Our Lady of Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment was in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
