Frank G. Wagner, 70, a resident of Carmel, N.Y., since 1969, died June 10 at Putnam Hospital Center.
He was the father of Andrea Colelli of Sandy Hook.
Born September 18, 1930, in Bronx, N.Y., he was a son of Margaret (Hess) Wagner of Carmel and the late Fritz Wagner. He was a US Navy veteran, having served from 1948-1952.
Mr Wagner was a property manager for Barhite & Holzinger for 21 years. He also owned Wagner Electric in Carmel and prior to working for Barhite & Holzinger, he worked for Chase Manhattan Bank of New York City for ten years.
He enjoyed sailing and was a licensed pilot. Mr Wagner was a member of the South Norwalk Yacht Club; the Ischoda Yacht Club in Norwalk; the Yorktown N.Y. Masons; and was past president and current member of Putnam County Electrical Contractors Association. He was also a member of St Lawrence OâToole Cemetery in Brewster, N.Y.
He married Frances Codogni in Drew Methodist Church in Carmel on December 6, 1969. They renewed their vows on August 24, 1991 in St Lawrence OâToole Church in Brewster.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, James Williams of Honolulu, Hawaii; three other daughters, Kathleen Gaudiosi of Danbury, Donna Colelli of Nashville, Tenn., and Gina Kurjanis of Branford; and eight grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass took place on June 13 at St Lawrence OâToole Church. Burial was in St Lawrence OâToole Cemetery.
The Beecher Funeral Home, One Putnam Avenue, Brewster, was in charge of arrangements.
