Coins For The Cure
Coins For The Cure
To the Editor:
During the month of April and part of May, blue-covered coffee cans were placed in businesses and offices in Newtown and surrounding towns. Donations were made for the Coins for the Cure â Wipe Out Leukemia campaign in memory of Greg Chion. Attached to the cans were bookmarks detailing the warning signs of leukemia, the number one disease that is killing our children between the ages of 2 and 14.
