Claws For Thanks

To the Editor:

The 2001 Lobster Fest Committee would like to thank all involved with this year’s event for another successful weekend. First and foremost we would like to thank all of the members of the Sandy Hook Vol. Fire & Rescue Co. and the Ladies Auxiliary for your hard work and dedication to the department. We would also like to thank J.P. Maguire Associates for their donation of the corn and to Associate Refuse for their donation of the dumpster. Thanks to Peter Kokosi and South Britain oil for hooking up the cooking area. To Botsford Fire Department and St Rose Church for their donation of chairs and tables. Also to Monroe Ladies Auxiliary for letting us borrow the sign.

Thanks also goes to Barbara Bradley and the Sandy Hook Deli for selling tickets for us. Also to the band, To the Max, for another great performance. To our neighbors of the firehouse for putting up with the noise and commotion of the weekend.

Finally, we need to thank all that attended the event. Without you this would not have been such a success. Thanks to all who continue to come back each year and we hope to see you all again in 2002!
