Joann M. Smith Felicella, 83, of Stratford, beloved wife of John Felicella, died June 7, in Bridgeport Hospital. She born in Milford on June 28, 1933, daughter of the late Martha (Wydra) and Burton Smith, Sr. Mrs Felicella was a homemaker and had been a lifelong area resident.

In addition to her beloved husband, her two sisters, Roberta Headford of Newtown and Sharon Kraut and her husband Jack of Woodbridge; her devoted children and their spouses, John M. Felicella of Stratford, David and Jacqueline Felicella of Milford, and Ann and Mark Richard of Maine; five grandchildren, Lisa Maxwell and her husband Dan, Tom Rubenstein, Melissa Doucette and her husband James, Jessica Bargo, and Seth Richard; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Smith and Burton Smith, Jr, and his wife Vera, all of Milford; and several nieces and nephews survive her.

In addition to her parents, her brother Donald predeceased her.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford.
