Business Supporting Youth
Business Supporting Youth
To the Editor:
I just want to let the people of Newtown and Sandy Hook know how proud they should be of the following local businesses who were kind enough to donate items to Dance Etc Dance Team Basket Raffle for this yearâs recital. Many of the girls and boys in the community benefit from their generosity and they should know how much we appreciate their kindness. So now itâs our turn to show our appreciation by encouraging everyone to support these local businesses, especially those who were generous enough to show they care about the kids in our community.
The Dance Team is made up of more than 70 local girls and boys and Iâm sure all these business have donated to many other youth-orientated causes in the past. Without businesses such as these, who show they care by supporting the youth of our community, the children certainly wouldnât have the opportunities they have and take as much pride as they do in our town. Therefore, please remember to support our local businesses when making future purchases. For our future is our youth and the stronger and more confident they are, the better and brighter our own townâs future will be.
Thank you to these local businesses for showing they care: Sandy Hook Hair Company, The Villa Restaurant & Pizza, Chao Chao Restaurant, Nina Nails Spa, Fun Kuts Haircutting, Lexington Gardens, Pretty Beautiful Spa & Boutique, Subway of Sandy Hook, Sandy Hook Wine Shop, Mocha Coffee House, Newtown Ice Cream Shop, UK Gourmet, Dunkinâ Donuts of Queen Street, The Toy Tree, Bagel Delight, Pampered Chef (Sheila Ward) and Dance Etc.
Your support and generosity is deeply appreciated by the children of Dance Etc Dance Team.
Sincerely
Lisa Arnold
