‘ARTIST/TEACHER’ AT SVA JUNE 30

NEW YORK CITY — The School of Visual Arts will present the exhibition “Portrait of an Artist/Teacher,” on view June 30–July 28. A reception will be Monday, July 9, from 5 to 7 pm.

This exhibition, curated by faculty member Michael Filan, features a variety of media by graduating students in the MAT Art Education Department. Their work addresses the challenges of being a teacher and preserving their own devotion to being artists themselves.
