Patricia (Beechel) Froehly, 67, 40-year resident of Westport, beloved wife, daughter, sister, godmother, and aunt, died June 9, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Richmond Hills, Queens, N.Y., March 13, 1946, a daughter of Vincent Beechel, Sr, of Newtown and Frances (Cuffe) Beechel, who is now deceased. She was the wife of Kenneth M. Froehly.

She grew up in Queens and was an administrative assistant in the liquor and spirits industry.

In addition to her husband and father, survivors include a brother, Vincent Beechel, Jr, of New York City, and a sister, Donna DeJoseph of Brookfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place Thursday, June 13, at 10 am, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, New York. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home Wednesday, June 12, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
