Was A Team Effort

To the Editor:

As Relay For Life came to an end this year, Team Shenanigans wanted to thank the top donors that helped them rise above their goal of raising $1,500. On May 1 Berkshire Motors lent their parking lot and water to Team Shenanigans to hold a car wash as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society; $585 was their profit and that was over one-third of what they needed as a minimum. With a generous donation from Junior Women’s Club of Newtown, Team Shenanigans were on their way to helping to find a cure for cancer. So here is a special thanks to Jim Marcucilli, owner of Berkshire Motors. Thank you!
