USB Seeks Grant Requests

DANBURY — Union Savings Bank Foundation is seeking applications for funding from 501(c)(3) organizations and other nonprofit causes located throughout western Connecticut.

The foundation places particular focus on funding activities that support youth development and education, health and human service needs, and the arts. Awards range from $2,500 to $10,000 and will be distributed during the month of October 2004. Grant applications will be accepted through August 31, and can be obtained at the bank’s 226 Main Street, Danbury office, on the website www.unionsavings.com, or by calling Michelle James at 830-6045.
