Sharon M. Folger

Sharon M. Folger, 55, of Platts Hill Road, Newtown, died June 4 in Danbury Hospital.

She was born in Boston, Mass., on May 25, 1949, a daughter of the late Bruno and Helen (Reimer) Matson. Sharon was raised and educated in Lowell, Mass. She was a self-employed horse trainer and was the former owner of Huntingtown Farm, Newtown. A resident of Newtown for 12 years, Sharon was a member of the Newtown Bridal Lands Association.

She is survived by her son, Clinton M. Dadian and his wife Kristin of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Wayne Matson of Ayer, Mass.; one sister, Gail Averill of Yonkers, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service of Remembrance was held June 6 in the Newtown Meeting House, Main Street (at the flagpole). Private cremation followed.
