NCC Confirms

15 Youths

Fifteen young people were confirmed in the Newtown Congregational Church last Sunday morning.

The Rev Steven Gordon, senior minister, read anonymous portions of the students’ statements of faith before he and the Rev Janice Touloukian formally confirmed them and placed a cross necklace over their heads as they were introduced individually. They were assisted by Deacons Marie Sturdevant, who handed each one a Certificate of Confirmation, and Ken Donahue, who assisted with the crosses.

Confirmed were Eric Langton Birken, Alex Heinz Dahlmeyer, Kevin Paul Davies, Kevin Fitzgerald Donahue, Julien P. Heller, Jason Robert Hanna, Julie Cynthia Landin, Jayme Beth Marcucilli, Kyla Michelle Miles, Ryan Thomas Morrissey, Caitlin Hannon Norcross, Kristi Rae Nowak, Daniel James Palermo, Eric Vincent Palmer, and Jasper Delano Ress.
