Gold Medal Gymnast

Megan Norman, 8, brought home a gold medal for her performance in the all-around at the Connecticut Level 4 state gymnastics competition in Old Saybrook on May 23. Her all-around of 33.55 led a strong contingent of gymnasts. Normann was second in the bars (8.1), beam (8.75) and vault (8.8) and third in the floor exercises (7.85). She competes for the Gymnastics Revolution team in Bethel.
