Post Offices To Close Friday

All post offices will be closed on Friday, June 11, due to the national day of mourning for the death of former President Ronald Reagan.

The offices will resume their normal hours on Saturday.

US flags at the post offices and other locations will be flown at half staff for 30 days, from the June 4 date of death of the former president until July 5.

State and federal offices will be closed on June 11. Newtown town government offices will be open, as will the schools, and The Bee offices.
