The next Working Women’s Forum (WWF) gathering, on Wednesday, June 12, will be a networking only event. It will also be the final meeting before the group’s summer break.

WWF is an organization of women founded in 2005 based in Newtown but encompassing those across the western Connecticut area. The group hosts monthly meetings, September through June, to grow professionally and personally through education, networking and the sharing of ideas and experiences.

The meeting format traditionally is networking at 6, followed by appetizers and cash bar, and usually a presentation. This month, attendees will participate in a discussion with the theme “Two things you might not know about me,” which is meant to be a fun time for women to get to know each other better. Meetings are generally completed by 9 pm.

The group meets at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook.

Cost to attend is $20 ($10 for members). Those attending are asked to bring a cash or non-perishable food donation for FAITH Food Pantry.

Attendees do not need to be currently working to attend meetings or become a member.

For additional information or a reservation contact Maureen Wilson at 203-470-9097 or rsvp@WorkingWomensForum.net, or visit www.WorkingWomensForum.net.
