Workshop Focusing On Grief Associated With Father’s Day

 DANBURY — When your dad is deceased, Father’s Day can be a very lonely time. To help adults grieving the loss of their dad, Healing Hearts will offer the workshop “Father’s Day When Your Father Has Died” on Wednesday, June 15, from 5 to 6:30 pm.

The workshop will take place at the Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families at 73 Stadley Rough Road. Participants will find insight and learn strategies to cope during Father’s Day. Anyone who thinks they can benefit is encouraged to attend.

The workshop facilitator is Jenny Casey, MSW, a facilitator at the Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families. She earned a master’s in social work from Southern Connecticut State University and has been a special program counselor at Holy Cross High School since 2001.
