Personal Documents
BROOKFIELD â Brookfield Lions Club will hold its annual Shred Day on Saturday, June 11, from 9 am to 1 pm, at Brookfield Municipal Center, 100 Pocono Road.
Area residents with personal information they would like to safely and responsibly recycle are invited to bring documents (tax records, bills, bank statements, junk mail, homework, etc) in boxes. Secure Eco-Shred will destroy the papers on site, in exchange for a donation of $5 per box recycled. The service can also be used to get rid of old phone books, homework, and scrap paper.
The Lions support many different charities, such as the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, National Diabetes Foundation, Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut, and the Brookfield High School Braille Room. For more information, contact Richard Groski at 203-775-9204.
