The Ella Grasso Center For Women Scholarship Essay

The Ella Tambussi Grasso Center for Women in Politics is dedicated to honoring the late Connecticut governor and her trailblazing career and commitment to public service. The center encourages and nurtures the academic and professional preparation of young people, especially women, to pursue careers and roles in public service, business and community leadership, and to foster public interest, scholarly research, and community programs focusing on women in both contemporary civic and corporate life in Connecticut and the nation.

The Grasso Center is initiating an academic scholarship for young women from around the state. The scholarship will be awarded on a merit based on the applicant’s essay.
