June 10â11 â Town & Country Garden Club Tercentennial Flower Show, âNewtown â A Floral Heritage,â Meeting House, Friday, 6 to 9 pm; Saturday, 9 am to 2 pm.

June 18 â Main Street Rooster Rally, Rooster exhibits, commemoratives, famous artists painting, Roosters entertainment, 11:30 am to 2 pm.

June 5â30 â Tercentennial Folk Art Flag Show, Memorial Room, Booth Library, during regular library hours.

July 9 â Tercentennial House & Garden Tour, Newtown Historical Society; tickets at library.

July 14 â US Air Force Jazz Band, Newtown Lions Club, Newtown High School; for tickets, Jason Hsu at 270-1138.

July 30 â âPassport to Newtownâs Pastâ Archival Exhibit, Newtown Historical Society, Memorial Room, Booth Library, 10 am to 2 pm.

August 6 â All day birthday celebration, family picnic, live music, games, antique car show, vintage baseball, fireworks, fireworks, fireworks, Newtown Bee bocce/croquet tournament.
